Cameron’s work unfolds between cross-genre sound and performance works, installation and exhibition concepts, game-engine simulations and sound sculpture. Contained within sensual tapestries of kilter, self-exposure, woozy familiarity, absurd spirituality, parafiction and narrative intoxication, projects feature acoustic, electronic, hand-built instruments and visual design softwares. He uses a sensory sound percussion drum kit to activate larger compositional and performative settings; voices, sound/video samples and stage elements become furtive intermedial entities controlled by the immediacy and physical potency of rhythm and pulse.
His music is released on the UK-based label Phantom Limb. His debut album ‘Becoming a Beach Angel’ was released on vinyl and digital in August 2023. Two further releases are scheduled for 2025. Acoustic and electroacoustic compositional works have been commissioned by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (UK), the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra (BE),  L’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (FR), the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg (AT), the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (RU), United Instruments of Lucilin (LX), Riot Ensemble (UK), lovemusic collective (FR), the ZhDK Zurich (CH), Cyborg Soloists (UK), and others. The intermedia work Admiror, or Revolutionary Sentiments, created with artists Bahara Noorizadeh and Klara Kofen was commissioned by, and presented at the Guggenheim Museum New York in 2024.
He holds lecturing positions at City University London (music journalism and criticism, studio composition, sound for moving image, and major project supervision) and the University of Surrey (composition, studio techniques, digital music). He has held a professorial position at Ithaca College London, and has given seminars and workshops at Goldmsiths University and Trinity Laban. His AHRC funded PhD (2019-23) explored staging, metaphorising and worlding the creative process through the discourse of intermedia, transmedia and new technology (WORLDS. METAPHORS. ICONS. Staging the Creative Process as Steps to Worlding).
His solo exhibition, ‘CONTACT RESULTS IN CONTAGION’ was showcased at the Solyanka Gallery, Moscow in ‘20. It was awarded a British Council production and arts grant. He was commissioned by the Schalfeld Ensemble as a Styria-Artist-in-Residence (St.A.i.R) fellow in Austria (2020-21).
Cameron co-founded and co-directs the creative screen media production agency DOKCULTURE with artist and film director Fergus Carmichael, with recent projects including Ferragamo, Bvlgari, The Courtauld Gallery, The Barbican Centre, Zenith and Miu Miu.  The short film Rhadinace was exhibited at the ICA London in 2025.
